Churches in the South Pacific are often very different to the churches you are involved in or familiar with. The region has a total population of 30 million people spread over 3000 inhabited islands and in the churches of Christ you will find:

Ø       300 + congregations

Ø      Average size of 30

Ø      Very few elderships

Ø      Generally not self-supporting

Ø      Only a few full time evangelists

Ø      A history of mission activity not always sustainable

Ø      Isolation

Ø      Limited resources

In such conditions evangelists find it difficult to survive emotionally, financially and sometimes even spiritually. South Pacific Ministries seeks your participation in order to help address these burdens. Evangelists and those in ministry need to concentrate on building up congregations and we can help through prayer, active participation and of course financial support.
